On 29 September 2023 the Australian Government tabled the Final Report of the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability in the Australian Parliament.
The report makes 222 recommendations, including changes to the Commonwealth Disability Discrimination Act and the creation of an Australian Disability Rights Act.
