Ms Jodeen Carney is South Australia's Commissioner for Equal Opportunity, and commenced in April 2021.
Jodeen began her career in the Northern Territory where she worked as a lawyer, politician, departmental Chief Executive and consultant.
Since moving to South Australia, she has worked as Chief of Staff to the Attorney-General.
She has had a long-standing interest in the advancement of women and the protection of children.
She is committed to addressing issues of diversity and equality in South Australia.
The Office of the Commissioner for Equal Opportunity reports to Parliament through the South Australian Attorney-General.
