Focusses on:

  • Understanding the line between inappropriate and appropriate workplace behaviour
  • Risk management and the importance of early intervention
  • Bringing people together to resolve conflict

Preventing workplace bullying, discrimination, and harassment

This package includes:

  • How to identify workplace conflict, bullying, discrimination, and harassment
  • Inappropriate behaviour and the risks to individuals and working relationships
  • Practical ways that inappropriate behaviour can be both handled and prevented

Contact Person: roles and responsibilities

Designed for those newly appointed to the role of workplace equal opportunity contact person, this package offers training on:

  • The types of behaviour and grievances people will bring to you
  • How to be clear about your role - managing expectations and limitations
  • Applying these skills to hypothetical scenarios

Contact person refresher course

A refresher workshop for existing contact persons which aims to:

  • Revisit the role of the contact person
  • Practice the skills required using relevant case scenarios
  • Address any concerns or dilemmas faced by participants in their role as contact person.

They can also organise training for more specific needs, including courses covering:

  • sexual harassment in the workplace
  • diversity and inclusion in leadership
  • how to safely intervene if you or your workers witness bullying or harassment (bystander awareness)
  • how judgements or decision-making may be based on assumptions and beliefs that we’re not aware we have (unconscious bias)
